THE BODY
The Body is an exploration of the body as a product and was meant to feel designed under the influence of desire. It over the course of its pages devolves into an unreadible, sticky disgusting mess the deeper you decend into the body, the deeper you are overtaken by desire.
The final product is laser printed, black on 20lb white paper. The covers are splintered and reglued balsa wood sheets. The pages are covered in fake blood “Hyde and Eek” and Modge Podge mixed with the fake blood. Some pages have hair or finger nails also attached. In between different poems in the book are laminated sheets of beef. Typeface in use is Neue Haas Grotesque.
