IF THEY ASK FOR AN INCH, YOU SHOULD GIVE A MILE

If They Ask For an Inch, You Should Give a Mile, is based on the book, If You Give Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff. I interpret that book as a classic tale of consumption and consumerism, nothing it ever enough so there is always more to take. In the story the main character Alexander is submissive to an ominous YOU who is always asking them to give up parts of themselves to please YOU.

The final product is laser printed, full color, on 20lb white paper. There are two different binding versions, one perfect, the other coptic. Typefaces in use are Neue Haas Grotesque and Benton Sans Condensed. Illustrations and story by me.
