BASEL BOOK
The Basel Book, is composed of four different typefaces all designed each with different designers at FHNW HGK Basel Visual Communication Institute during a Summer 2022 Type Design Workshop led by Philip Stamm. The First Red typeface was designed by me, the second by Alex Domasik, the third by Austin Watson, and the fourth by Joe Brinckwirth. The Book itself was designed by Joe Brinckwirth and myself. Using classic Swiss design styles to make simple but beautiful type specimen books for each of our fonts.
The final Product is RISO printed four 4 colors, red, green, blue, black. Printed on 70lb crisp white paper. Books are stitched on the spine, printed in signatures. The Magazine file box is made of balsa wood, laser engraved. Each box contains four booklets.
